ESTABLISHMENT OF PRAGATHI CHARITABLE TRUST
To address the needs of child laborers, migrant laborers children and slum dwellers children, Pragathi Trust was established in Bangalore city in the year 2005. As we interacted with people living in slums, it was felt that there is a serious lacunae that exists in the services provide to these people.
To provide quality education to these needy children, Pragathi trust took the initiative and started learning centers in slums in Bangalore city in 2005 catering the needs of 155 children. After the bridge course at the learning centres these out of school children are admitted in mainstream Govt Schools and their punctuality will be monitored by the Trust.
In 2017-18 FY three such centers have been run in Bangalore and 110 children benefited from these centres.
